Cooking for Change, Inc. is a brand new NC non-profit pulic charity educational organization.

 

Our Mission statement:  Providing professional food service training to vocationally dis-advantaged adults* qualifying them for career opportunities in the food service industry.

 

*The un-employed and under-employed, those formerly homeless or addicted, un-employed veterans, older teens aged out of public support, single parents, re-entry.

Many organizations like ours exist in cities across the country.  Anywhere there is a soup kitchen, there is a training opportunity.  Anywhere people in need are being fed, there is a training opportunity.  Sounds simple, doesn't it?
